These are our Static R1 Drop/Raise Plates so you can start riding low, high, or just stock in comfort and style immediately! These plates are sold in sets and are constructed from laser cut, 1/4” thick (factory thickness is only 3/16”), grade 50 super-strong steel spring plates, and 1026 carbon steel Spline Stubs. The R1 series Drop/Raise Plates come standard black satin or an optional translucent red powder coat finish, which is far more durable and beautiful than the industry-standard cheap zinc coatings that you will find on most suspension components and a custom CNC machined stainless steel badge. They come in the following increments:

2.5” Drop
1.2” Raise
Keep in mind when making your selection that each spring plate has a variance of an inch in either direction. For example if you wanted to drop your VW 3.25” then you should purchase the 2.5” Drop Plates and then index them on your VW so that it sits 3.25”.
*Note: Bushings with 1.75” ID proper shocks and are necessary for a complete rear suspension.
Billet Dust Covers
Our medium-stub (not short stub) spring plates are designed with open ends on purpose so that the torsion bar can be installed from the outside if the installer chooses to. Click here to see. However for those who insist on a clean look and do not want the torsion bar exposed to the elements, we manufacture dust covers. They are made from either billet aluminum or billet stainless steel, and use 3 set screws to hold firmly into place.
We have brought back the rolling element bearing to the rear suspension due to popular demand, and these are even better than before! If you have a big engine, this kit should be considered a must! Stop wasting your horsepower in wheel hop and put your power to the road! This kit will reduce or completely eliminate wheel hop, which allows your car to hook up, instead of spin the tires in vibration. Additionally, it allows your tires to experience more road time, both in acceleration and in cornering, because it frees up the friction that bushings impose on your suspension. These sets eliminate the bushings entirely and replace them with precision ground roller bearings.
All of the parts in this kit are precision CNC machined! The sealed roller bearings are made of hardened steel that cannot not deflect. This setup is far superior to bronze or plastic bushings, since they do not endure grinding as those non-sealed setups do. Additionally, Urethane and Delrin sill deflect under loads as well as breakdown over time due to exposure to the sun. Don’t be fooled by the hype - our steel rolling element bearings are superior to all bronze or polymer setups across the board; they are stiffer, they free up your suspension to react better to the road, and they far outlast all bushings!
